Global Standard Food Safety Issue 9

On 01 August 2022, BRCGS released the latest version of BRCGS Food Issue 8 and implemented from February 1, 2023.

BRCGS has developed a set of food safety, quality system audit standards for food suppliers, which contains the quality of food suppliers and safety and health assurance capabilities of the assessment requirements. They are under the umbrella of GFSI-Global Food Safety Initiative.

BRC’s auditing standards are widely recognized by global food retailers and are then used by most food retailers and procurement groups around the world as a threshold for access to suppliers. Therefore, through the BRC audit, it has become an important condition for food producers to sell their products to the global market.
